Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity, would like to wish our Royal Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, a very happy 90th birthday!

Queen Elizabeth II, one of the country's most famous dog lovers became our Patron in 1990. Four years later she officially opened our rehoming centre in West Calder, and then later in 2012, Dogs Trust Loughborough was opened to coincide with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Dogs Trust Loughborough planted a Jubilee Garden with over 250 plants that were specifically selected because of their name association with the Royal Family. The garden also features commemorative plaques listing the names of all the Queen's beloved Corgis.

On behalf of all the rescue dogs and staff at Dogs Trust, we'd like to wish Her Majesty a very happy birthday!
